Happy 2015! It’s
a new year and that means: new posts, new partnerships, new business ventures—same
goals, to encourage women to have upstanding character, to embrace your inner
& outer beauty and (of course) to always be fashionable wherever the road
leads.
Today’s look was inspired by upcoming new opportunities and the
excitement that accompanies the work ahead. Nothing says business professional
quite like a pencil skirt. Naturally form fitted, pencil skirts are designed to
flatter a woman’s body. For a completely slender look, you can pair a pencil
skirt with a fitted top—but I opted for a blouse to add a little playfulness to
the outfit and balance the sleek nature of the fitted skirt. Because the colors
that make up the body of the outfit lean towards neutral tones—you can add a
pop of color with a coat. I chose to tie the outfit together with a navy pea
coat and maintain a chic professional front.
Lastly, not only is it important
to be presentable but also be dependable! Women with a good work ethic stay
motivated, achieve goals and earn character points. Cheers to the beginning of
a wonderful year ahead!
